Countries around the world\nhave launched environmental policies related to carbon dioxide reduction. In Taiwan, the government\nproposed \"Sustainable Energy Policy\" in 2008, which clearly revealed the targets and milestones for CO2\nreduction. Since Taiwan’s construction industry accounts for nearly 27.22% of total carbon dioxide emission,\nit is necessary to improve and reduce carbon emission related to construction. In order to respond to the\ngovernmental policies, project owners will have to consider using low carbon materials for building design.\nHowever, low carbon materials are usually more expensive, and their performances on carbon reduction are\nhard to gauge. To meet this need, this study integrates building information modeling (BIM) software\n(Autodesk Revit), energy simulation software (eQUEST) and Microsoft Excel to calculate the lifecycle costs\nand CO2 emission of construction materials. Based on the carbon taxes implemented in different countries,\nthis study adopts compromise decision and net present value (NPV) methods to look for materials with low\ncarbon emission and lifecycle costs. The cases in this study verify the feasibility of the proposed integration\nwith a 5% margin of error. In the future, with more low carbon materials available, the integrated system will\nbe more ready for practical use.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_5_publisher_36":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Society for Social Management Systems"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"CHEN, Po-Han"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"LI, Yu-Chieh"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2019-02-13"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"sms13-9783.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"207.7 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"sms13-9783.pdf","url":"https://kutarr.kochi-tech.ac.jp/record/1259/files/sms13-9783.pdf"},"version_id":"8398eec6-a5c4-4324-9988-a745eef95324"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"BIM-BASED INTEGRATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSION AND COST EFFECTIVENESS FOR BUILDINGS IN TAIWAN","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"BIM-BASED INTEGRATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSION AND COST EFFECTIVENESS FOR BUILDINGS IN TAIWAN"}]},"item_type_id":"5","owner":"2","path":["25"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2015-02-28"},"publish_date":"2015-02-28","publish_status":"0","recid":"1259","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["BIM-BASED INTEGRATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSION AND COST EFFECTIVENESS FOR BUILDINGS IN TAIWAN"],"weko_creator_id":"2","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-16T00:52:15.835421+00:00"}
