The aim of the program is to support advanced research conducted at KUT by accepting highly capable international students.\nAt the beginning, IRC’s activities were concentrated on recruiting, selecting and providing maximum support to foreign students attending KUT.\nA few years later IRC expanded its activities to involve sending Japanese students abroad. In 2006, a study tour to Bangkok was conducted followed by a study tour to China in 2007.
